e-symposium Ltd cannot take the risk out of doing business…but we can minimise it. We do this by 1. operating stringent best practice standards, 2. appointing a two-tiered regulatory committee consisting of internationally recognised industry specialists, 3. composing a program featuring world-renowned experts delivering cutting edge presentations, 4. making the first E-Symposium free of charge to delegates to create 'hype', 5. offering delegates high-quality headsets free of charge to optimise their web conference experience and 6. to offer loyalty-building tools such as DelegateChat (web-based instant messaging), the DelegateBoard (message board), technical sponsorship profiles, essential industry news and a full presentation archive to delegates to ensure they don't only use the E-Symposium site during the event, but throughout the year.
This ensures continued exposure for your showcase and increases the chances of delegates signing up for the next E-Symposium. In addition, we provide you with login to your own E-Symposium stats, so you can track your progress on the site. How many delegates have looked at your technical sponsorship profile, where they accessed it from, their geographical provenance and who attended your presentation, all of this information and more is made available via your personalised E-Symposium stats.
e-symposium Ltd is also a registered member of ABC Electronic which audits our events. This should give you the peace of mind that we have been tested and verified by a credible industry body.
It is very simple. You create the PowerPoint presentation (we will send you some guidelines to consider for the optimum result). Once you have created your presentation, you send it to the Sponsorship Manager who will forward it to the technical team. We will then convert the PowerPoint presentation into its final format and upload your presentation to the E-Symposium player. Once this is done, you will receive a link with confirmation of the time and date of your presentation as well as a one-page manual so that you can familiarise yourself with the user interface. Effectively all you're doing is pressing 'next' when you want to push a slide whilst you are speaking the presentation into the telephone. We will set up a 'dry run' so you can test all functionalities and ask any questions you may have typically 1 week from the event date. About 72 hours before the event you will receive a final e-mail confirming your time slot and a local dial-in number (to save you money) which you will then dial into 5 minutes prior to your presentation slot. Once you have completed your 15/30-minute presentations, you will see delegates submitting questions which will appear on your screen. Delegates submit questions by typing them into their Q&A interface. It is important that you read out the question and then proceed to answer it. This method also allows you to filter out questions which you deem irrelevant.
No. Delegates are made aware that the E-Symposium will not be free of charge forever. The E-Symposium is only free of charge for its launch for the simple reason that we need healthy attendee numbers to kick-start the event. This strategy allows us to pass on the benefits as attendees get a real taste of the levels of quality and credibility they can expect next year. Not only will they realise the quality of the event but the presentation archive and useful tools such as DelegateChat (web-based instant messaging), essential industry news and technical sponsorship profiles will provide them with value throughout the year. When it then comes around to signing up for the next E-Symposium, they know it is money well spent. Most importantly for you however, this strategy ensures maximum attendance which will lead to maximum exposure for your corporation.
Generally, there is a minor loss of quality. However, we do provide you with branded slide templates (with your logo and slogan) which will achieve optimum quality and will see hardly any deterioration in comparison to the original.
The E-Symposium webcasting technology is arguably the best technology on the market today. Our technology arm works relentlessly at redefining the boundaries of high-tech in the web conference context. Before each presentation our technical team carries out sound checks to adapt the sound system to the voice of each speaker. This ensures that the audio settings are not generic but customised. The voice of the presenter is then fed through our high-tech sound studio and broadcast live via the E-Symposium player. The audio quality of all presentations is second to none and, to most delegates, surprisingly good. However, we do not stop at our technological pedigree. So to ensure that all delegates enjoy an optimum audio experience at all times, e-symposium Ltd sends out high-quality complimentary headsets free of charge to every delegate. This makes for a relaxed web conference experience which in turn creates a receptive target audience for your marketing message.
We do not using video streaming as the possible technical problems for users outweigh the benefits over audio webcasting. Furthermore, cutting out a gesticulating presenter focuses the listener solely on the presentation at hand, whilst the photograph ensures there is a familiarity anchor.
The E-Symposium is archived within 24 hours and all presentations are made available via the presentation archive. The only difference for you is that questions from delegates will not be received live but into your e-mail inbox at the end of each business day. The Q&A tab which was used by delegates to submit questions to you live turns into a 'Feedback' tab which acts as an enquiry form.
Your archived presentation is available to delegates throughout the year and they are constantly reminded of its existence via the presentation archive bar which stretches horizontally throughout the E-Symposium web pages. We will also include a link to the archived presentation inside your technical sponsorship profile and any press articles both of which will be featured in the TEK-centre.
e-symposium uses advanced and audit-compliant Web metrics technology to clock and analyse Web traffic. This means that all 'ghost traffic' (spiders, crawlers & robots) which often artificially inflates traffic figures is filtered out and only the 'real' traffic figure remains. Traffic is measure in two units:
page views
a page view, or page impression, is each time a visitor views a webpage on our site, irrespective of how many hits are generated. Web pages are comprised of files. Every image in a page is a separate file. When a visitor looks at a page (i.e. a page view), they may see numerous images, graphics, pictures etc. and generate multiple hits.
For example, if you have a page with 10 pictures, then a request to a server to view that page generates 11 hits (10 for the pictures, and one for the html file). A page view can contain hundreds of hits. This is the reason that we measure page views and not hits.
visits
A term used to indicate how many times our Web site has been visited by industry professionals. For example, if our site has received over 20,000 "visits," the main page has been displayed by different users all over the world more than 20,000 times.
Your sponsorship involvement is confirmed via an e-booking form of which you will receive a copy upon submission.
